    My Not-So-Ordinary Life Comment

    1. This autobiography author Christine Rice has compiled will come full circle from innocence to broken, guilty to guilty, all the way from rock bottom to today, victorious and fulfilling her heart s desire It s a complicated circle indeed but not so uncommon to many that we unknowingly brush circles with on a regular basis My Not So Ordinary Life is a fitting title of a confused child in search of identity, unconditional love and a resolve to find solutions to the millions of questions racing in [...]

    2. My Not So Ordinary Life chronicles the author s life from her preschool years to present day There are neither big reveals nor dark confessions, just a tale of a life lived While she labels her life to be unordinary, there seems to be a pervasive familiarity to it as well We all have known people who have traveled down similar paths. What is the motive behind the her book Is this a tell all book No Is it a learn from my mistake narrative Not quite There is no sense of remorse, no shame, no moment [...]

    3. My Not So Ordinary Life By Christine RiceAutobiography, 2012.This is the author s life story from age 2 to 28, growing up and coming of age She describes her childhood, troubled teen years and her adulthood She describes her ups and her downs, her regrets and her accomplishments I love that she shared parts of her story that other authors would not her mental health, her relationships and her other dark secrets.I would have loved to have read detail in her story As another review said after I h [...]

    4. I borrowed this book from a friend of mine I was glad it was short I like the idea behind the book, basically about a girl making bad choices and then getting her life turned around I did not care for the execution She talked about all the bad choices she made as a teenager and young adult but then backed them up by saying she still feels like she made the right choices and doesn t regret them She talks about how great she is at a job and how confident she is but then she hates the job and quits [...]

    5. I really enjoyed this book by Christine Rice It s a short autobiography of the author s life from age 2 up to age 28 I found Parts 1 2 of the book to be especially interesting because a lot of her experiences reminded me of my own life I really love when you read a book, autobiography or otherwise, and can truly identify with the characters in some way I recommend reading this because it s a really great testament to how a person can still find happiness and purpose despite the trials they may h [...]

    6. I enjoyed learning about Christine s life, and I m glad life is better for her now However, I m unable to give this book four or five stars because, to me, it felt like an outline than a complete book.

    7. A memoir about the early life of the author that takes the reader through childhood into early adulthood The author gives an account of the struggles in school and the struggles with completing school and making something of herself.Despite the title I felt this book was just another account of a person finding themselves The author didn t seem to go into a lot of details or expound on anything enough to keep me interested It was a bit dry and seemed to be like a list of events and feelings tha [...]

    8. I was excited when I got the book, as I love a good memoir However, reading the book left me feeling unfulfilled I felt like the book was written as an outline of the authors life, as opposed to the actual story I would have loved for the author to go into greater detail about incidents in her life I feel like there was going on and the author was unwilling to share it all As a reader of memoirs, I want to know all about the author I want to be let into their lives, not just the surface stuff, [...]
