A quick read at only 38 pages, this story offers something I don t normally see in local crime fiction, or even local lit, and that is bringing the reader to indigenous communities in the Philippines in this case, Mindanao and showing what happens within I love that the main character is an anthropologist because my brother is one, and it made it easier for me to understand what was going on in the story, especially when it came to culture immersion, ethnography work, traditions and rituals, tri [...]
