    About Author

    1. USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR I was born in Montreal, Canada, at a very young age, where I still live with my spouse, Joanne, under the watchful eye of Krystalle and Midnight, two black females of the feline persuasion In a former life, I completed my studies at McGill University and worked in various management capacities for a handful of firms for countless years From there, considering my extensive background in human resources and finance, it was a logical leap in my career path to stay home and write crime thrillers. My first stab at writing was actually in 1995, the result being my first novel, Vigilante Two others of the same series followed by 1997 but all three remained dormant until publication in 2009 Since, besides writing a stand alone, five other thrillers have joined the VIGILANTE series I also penned Something s Cooking , a faux erotica parody and cookbook under the pseudonyms R al E Hotte and Dasha Sugah I m currently working on See You in Saigon and The First Sixteen , two further installments of my series I have to say, I m enjoying this writing gig.Other interests besides writing and subtly persuading people to buy my books include reading, making noise with my six guitars, painting oil and watercolour , cooking year round though I love the grill in the summer , traveling and planning to work out soon I ve also been known to sleep on occasion. You can visit my website at claudebouchardbooks which is almost as fun as DisneyLand and absolutely free.

    1. Ok This book has me in a bit of a dilemma But before I start any kind of a review I must say that I found it to be a fantastically absorbing reading that kept me glued to the rapidly turning pages well into the wee small hours First impressions were that this is much the best of the Claude Bouchard Vigilante series so far and when I finished it I assigned a 5 star rating But then the nagging doubts started to arise, some, I must admit while reading it, but mostly later while thinking about and d [...]

    2. This book confused me and not in a had me guessing until the end way The book didn t seem to fit the theme of the rest in the series I felt there were drastic changes in some of the characters, several of them swearing incessantly when they never had before, speaking French occasionally yes I realize the books take place in Canada If you re going to write a series of books about the same characters, there needs to be consistency The story line seemed forced I had it figured out very near the beg [...]

    3. With The Homeless Killer Claude shows us again his incredible story telling skills that will keep you in the icy grip of a cereal killer This time one who has it out for the poor defenseless people living out on the streets Each killed in different ways, yet without emotion As long as the job gets done.Dave McCall gets on the killer s bad side in this one and he doesn t like it at all Will McCall be able to outsmart him Read The Homeless Killer and you will get hooked to find out

    4. This is probably the least enjoyable of the Vigilante series of books Seems to be a rehash of the same theme as the previous ones but with a different type of victim I would recommend skipping this one.

    5. McCall and Berry are back in this fourth installment by Claude Bouchard This series is ridiculously good Plan on staying up late, you won t be able to put it down.

    6. This was another wonderful installment in the Vigilante Series I just love the combination of Chris Barry and Dave McCall and the addition of Jonathan Addley There is nothing like the good guys getting some justice This 4th book in the series had somewhat of a playful tone to it if you read it, you will know what I mean as I don t want to spoil it for anyone It was just a little gem of playfulness of Chris and Jon in the middle of this thriller There are really 2 murder mysteries to solve in thi [...]

    7. I probably liked this one the least of all in this series so far It seemed to have had maybe a different editor as well as there were mistakes, too It has got French and whilst I appreciate it s probably Mr Bouchard s first language and it IS set in Canada, it isn t mine and he s not written the first three like this I hope he reverts back to English names and places in the next story. On page 5 the killer s name changed from Alan to Allan for starters which didn t bode well Another BIG aggrav [...]

    8. Another thrilling mystery with David McCall and Chris Barry at the helm Someone is secretly tracking down and ruthlessly murdering the homeless and McCall is left scrambling to grab any clues he can With a political accident and mysterious characters popping up, the work becomes and intense With hope of finding the killer fading, who better to become one of the homeless Why, the Vigilante himself, Chris Barry Can a trap be set for this killer And how many people will die before the trap can be [...]

    9. Did you ever find some money in your wallet, you forgot was even there, or a cold beer in the refrigerator when you were sure you were out I have read all of the excellent Vigilante series and was sure I would have to wait for the next one to be released Someway, somehow, this one was missing from the collection Like a kid finding another Birthday present under all the wrappings So this doesn t tell you anything about the book, but you can read the description and the 5 star rating ought to give [...]

    10. It was good but not his best I read it an enjoy it but it was not as captivating as the three previous one Missing a lot of actions and I was able to find the bad guy almost at the beginning Hope it was just a false little move in the vigilante series and will be reading the next one in a near future Thanks to the author and keep it up

    11. Once again Claude has written an astounding book I love the characters that he takes from book to book beginning with the Vigilante This book had a very surprising ending I was beginning to suspect it near the end but it didn t take anything away from my enjoyment The book was well written and moved along at a good pace The characters were well developed Can t wait to read the next one.

    12. The first 2 in this series were great reads, so I bought the 3rd and this one, The Homeless Killer The 3rd was weak compared to the first 2, and this one was even worse The story doesn t draw you in, drags on a bit, and has a very weak ending I had planned to read all 8, but I think I ll stop now.

    13. Another GREAT book by Claude Bouchard Everything he writes is totally amazing They draw you inand you cannot stop reading This series Barry McCall is totally one of my favorite reads Afterpurchasing the first in the series, I immediately went and bought every book that Mr Bouchard has written I am truly one of his biggest fans

    14. Another excellent entry in the series This was mystery than previous books and not quite as much action adventure Good plotting and characterization, nice smooth flow to the storyline.Definitely a series I am continuing to follow.

    15. The twist was obvious, but I managed to still be surprised because I talked myself out of believing it There was much less of Barry saving the day and a lot of McCall, which I liked Not a bad 4th book after the mess of the 3rd.

    16. preferred the first three books on this series over this one ante I was able to predict endind early on but still a good read

    17. Book was fast and enjoyable reading as are all Claude Bouchards books, but it didn t have enough of Chris Barry in it,so I have to admit it I was a little disappointed.
