    1. In my view, this book has been the best so far among those of the second tier of the Horrorland series The characters have a genuine feel about them and the action is unexpected, creating twists in the plot that really have the potential to surprise the reader As Sam and his friend Lexi hit on the perfect way to convince Sam s parents that he is responsible enough to own a pet, the dark side of the souvenirs that the two friends bought at the Horrorland theme park begins to emerge A blunder on S [...]

    2. I think it was good book it had some good parts and some eh parts I liked when the hamster and the boy had a fight it was cool.

    3. Little shop of hamsters by R.L Stine is a very good book Sam Waters always wanted a pet but his parents never thought that he was responsible enough He finally wants to prove his parents wrong but it results with an even bigger problem, which means they don t think that he is responsible the slightest bit He tries working a at a hamster only shop to prove that he is responsible but accidentally messed that up too Sam just can t seem to catch a break This book was very good and I recommend it for [...]

    4. I know it might be silly to include Goosebumps in my challenge but it s been awhile since I ve read them It just hit me today that I should had added a Fear Street title too, oh well, there s always next year Can I just say how crazy that cover looks I have a confession, I m a complete and total hamster lover I ve raised hamsters my whole life And it was weird, as I was reading this book, I would often catch my hamster staring at me while I read I read at night so he would be awake bathing or ea [...]

    5. My love of reading started when i was young, and it gives me immense pleasure to provide books to Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that passes them on to children in the community They are a terrific organization supporting an important cause If your local I encourage you to check them out For those living further a field, look in your own community, their may already be a similar program in place And if not, you can always help start one.spreadthewordnevada Myself, I go out on the weeken [...]

    6. THIS IS AWESOME BECAUSE THIS IS A SIMPLE STORY IN WHICH NOTHING HAPPENS SO HORRORLY IN THIS A KID, I DON T REMEMBER HIS NAME WISHES TO KEEP A PET WHICH WAS ALWAYS IGNORED BY HIS PARENTS AND THEY ALWAYS TOLD THAT HE WAS IRRESPONSIBLE TO KEEP THEM FOR HAVING A PET, HE HAS TO PROVE THAT HE WAS RESPONSIBLE AND HE TAKE A PART TIME JOB IN A HAMSTERS SHOPON HE FINDS THAT THE OWNER WANTS THE HAMSTERS TO PLAY FOR A HAMSTER S FIGHT AND HE GIVES HIM A WATER LIKE SUBSTANCE WHICH MADE THEM GO CRAZY AND THE B [...]

    7. This book is classic Goosebumps as I remember it, though Stine has added in iPhones and other modern technology to keep things realistic for kids growing up in a world technologically advanced than kids in the 90s had There s a little bit of listen to your parents in each one of Stine s books that I m not sure I noticed when I was a kid, but I definitely notice now. This series of HorrorLand books reminds me a lot of Stephen King s Needful Things With each souvenir from Chiller s gift shop, the [...]

    8. I give this book 4 stares there this boy name SAM, this book is about a boy that want A pet boy he mom and said no to he he goes work in a shop in horror land SAM loves animals so he gat a job of in a pet shop.he has being working there for some day then he gave the hamsters candy they trend evil and Sam gat scared they boss of the pet shop was evil so he trend them evil en SAM solve the p problem and he went home

    9. All Sam Waters wants is a pet To prove he s responsible enough, he takes an after school job at a pet store filled with hamsters After dropping some of his candy in the cage, the cute critters start to become rabid monsters Will he survive to find out how to stop them I read this with my six year old son Not our favorite of the Goosebumps books, and the twist came out of nowhere, but it was amusing I will never look at a hamster the same way again.

    10. Sam desperately wants a pet Too bad his parents don t think he s responsible enough and will barely let him keep the weird Insta Gro animal from the Horrorland gift shop To prove he s responsible , sam takes an after school job in a pet store that sells nothing but hamsters To his horror, Sam soon finds that cute little hamsters can become very uncute monsters Suddenly, Sam isn t fighting for a pet, she is fighting the pet that she wanted.

    11. This is the first R.L Stine book I ve read, and my only real aim was to pre read it for my daughter It was a little hard to imagine how a book with the theme of HorrorLand could be any sort of appropriate reading for a kiddo, but I have to say that I m impressed Yes, it was full of gross and freaky things, but it was mostly just funny It was action packed and not actually terrifying.

    12. I picked this up on a whim I was really into R.L Stine when I was younger He inspired me to check out all different kinds of mystery novels I never read any of the horrorland series so I thought I would give it a try It was really funny, the ending was so silly.

    13. Sam went to horrorland and brought a candy home He really want a pet.So he have to be responable he work in a hamster shop and the hamster ate his candy and turning in monster. The owner point want to win and hamster contest in world wide.He keep ask sam what the formula.

    14. This book was short an snappy but enjoyable as a quick, one sitting read I love how everything fell into place at the end but I think it was a bit stupid for Fitz to reveal his whole plan I liked the concept of the horror bringing Sam back to Jonathan Chiller despite it being quite realistic.

    15. it is sort of good book the fellow Sam likes pets but his parents think he is irresponsible Once he finds a hamster store and works there to prove that he is responsible and the story starts full of adventures

    16. This is one of those entries that makes you wonder what Stine was thinking when he wrote this The idea in and of itself was just strange Sometimes a Goosebumps book will have a cool idea that just wasn t executed right I don t think there was a good way to do mutant killer hamsters

    17. Refreshing change from all the serious books Witty and kind of horrendous P nice little story and a good read

    18. Entertaining, like the others of course there are exciting parts Another must read in this awesome series from the master of freight

    19. Actually liked most of it But it s a bit boring in between and I think the hamster scenes should have been absurd, cute and creepy, those descriptions seemed a bit rushed tbh

    20. I had never read a Goosebumps book so I had to try one I actually enjoyed a fun quick read that did not take a lot of thinking This was a fun and imaginative story.
